Married

Okay so now it's already the 28th, which means tons and tons has happened. There's just no way of covering it all but I'll do a brief walkthrough... I was only in Toronto for three days before another trip commenced, so there was no time to adjust to the time zone. We got to Vancouver really late on Monday night and I went straight to sleep. Tuesday and Wednesday consisted of walking around, eating lots and meeting tons of people. Wednesday night was "rehearsal dinner" at Chris' dad's house.

And so Thursday arrived, which was of course the day we would get married. And so we did. The ceremony was held in Stanley Park, close to the reception place, the Vancouver Rowing Club. The whole day was great, so many wonderful people, such a great day.

The week in Vancouver was great even though I barely slept and therfore felt like crap most of the time. We got home really late yesterday and I hope I won't have to fly anymore in a very long time.. Especially not WestJet. Those guys are nuts.

So here I am, back in Toronto, struggling once more to adjust to the time and the goddamn heat and having nothing to do. Today I have done laundry, translated, cleaned, bought groceries, thrown out the garbage.... I feel married already. Chris is at work. I am tired.

I'm here!

I'm here! Got here on Thursday the 16th and now it's Saturday and I'm a bit tired cause it's not easy to stay asleep with see-through curtains and the Gardiner Expressway right outside the window. I was a bit lost during the first day here, I couldn't really comprehend what was going on. But it's growing on me.

The place Chris and I live is awesome! The location is probably the most beautiful in Toronto, right by the lake and with an amazing view of planes, trains and automobiles, and cruiseships, sailboats, islands, Porter airport, the CN Tower, parks.... You name it. I was just up on the roof finishing my translations and it was sunny and beautiful. Butterflies fluttered about. The picture is from our roof.
